Before the Exile - Chapter one

Here is a story I wanted to write with this picture. I hope you like it, tell me what you think.

The day seemed long as it went by. Alister Azimuth raced himself to the safety car as his dear mate, Cybele. With one hand shifting from behind him to in front of him and another hand holding his weapon tightly. Alister ran pressing each step harder and faster in front of himself, soon he came to a break in the earth, a large trench grew wider and wider with each passing second.

“Dang it.” Alister shouted out seeing a bunch of rock and ground fall into the deep trench. He had to get to  the Court of Azimuth where everyone was.  Quickly looking around seeking for any type of way to get across saw in the distance behind him Percival Tachyon coming in with his army. As a hard shocking gasp escaped his mouth Alister dropped his weapon and turned his hover boots on full blast, hoping he would reach the other side, reaching only inches away from the edge he felt himself close to falling, however he quickly held onto a dead root. He closed his eyes briefly before softly speaking,

“Cybele, I’m coming.” Refuting to his mate who was in the Court of Azimuth, lifting one arm on top another he climbed the crumbling trench.  Struggling to lift himself up he managed to climb to the edge and take off running to the court. Hearing bombs blow off, Alister found himself in front of one of Tachyon’s army members, it was well taller than himself and needed to get past the fowl robot. Looking quickly around he forgot he left his weapon on the other side of the trench. Grumbling under his breath he raced passed the robot and managed to escape without the robot following.

“Wow, you’re so stupid.” He mentioned continuing running. Building started falling and Lombaxes started crying for help as the robot army began to increase in members. Alister had no time to help the others; he knew sooner or later he would pay the consequences. But the only thing he had on his mind was get to his dear mate. Shifting his weight back and forth between falling debris, he finally made it to the Court of Azimuth. Everyone was huddled in the room, it was a tight fit, Alister yelled out his mate’s name,

“Cybele, where are you?” His heart began racing even faster than before. On the edge of the corner he saw her in a floating bed with no one around; she looked as if she was in pain. Squeezing himself through everyone he made it safe to her side. Alister looked at her stomach and then back at her,

“My love what’s wrong?” She panted and looked into his crimson eyes as tears began to fall from her sadden eyes,

“The baby is coming now.” She said as she tried to hold the pain in and not let it show. After a few minutes of hiding, she let out a loud cry. She pushed hard but not hard enough for the baby to be pushed out. Alister’s eyes grew wide; this was not the best time for his unborn baby to come into the world. He looked around quickly before grabbing a small blanket,

“HELP!” he said shouting around the crowded room. All of a sudden a young female lombax came to Cybele’s side and helped her deliver the baby, Alister was then soon grabbed by Kaden,

“Alister I will never forgive you for this!” said a Lombax as he tried to shout to everyone to be quiet. The room then grew silent.

“Everyone, please we all must leave, we need to use the Dimensionator to escape.” The crowd then acknowledged however eyes then grew cold towards Alister’s direction. A lombax then shouted out,

“This is all Alister’s fault, he should be in exile!” The room then cried out agreeing with that individual Lombax. Cybele then cried out with a loud cry, not wanting to see her mate leave her in a time of need. Alister’s eyes once again grew big in the shocking turnabout. People pushed him away and tried to throw him out the door, but he shifted his weight around, trying to get by Cybele’s side. She cried intently as the baby was now born, her heart raced with much pain seeing everyone wanted Alister to be exiled. While the one female took the newborn, Alister and Cybele looked deeply in each other’s eyes.

“I don’t want you to go.” Cybele said as tears fell from her already crying eyes. Alister held tightly onto her hand,

“As of I.” The baby then was placed in the arms of its mother. A long tail was present and Alister was sad, but happy to know he had a son, however he would never see him again.

“You must go with them, Take him, and care for him. I will return some day. I love you!” Alister said as he was pushed again once more, the crowed attempted to push him out the door, however Alister held his head up high to see his small family one more time before doors closed in front of him.

Falling to his knees he let out a loud cry, lights then emerged from the window, he saw everyone leaving to the other dimension, hundreds of lombaxes pushed themselves through the light and was never seen again. Seeing someone with was wearing the Dimensionator told everyone to go, and in a flash, the rush of people vanished into the other dimension, including his mate and newborn.

Sighing under his breath, Alister had to find a way to escape the chaos, not to mention find Kaden. Alister raced to  Kaden’s house and found it in ruins. And small blood stains filled parts, peaking around the corner, he found Kaden’s mate lying there lifeless. Alister grew weaker and weaker seeing the chaos he had made with everyone. He would never forgive himself for this act. Moving forward he lived most of his years searching for Kaden and no sigh of him anywhere, the only thing he could think through those long years was he must have been dead. And after a while he acknowledged his childhood friend passed away with the other thousands of lifeless lombaxes.

Will Alister find him?
Will he ever see his son?
